OMDEC at the Coalface - Colombian Coal Mine expands its EXAKT footprint into Living Reliability.
OMDEC’s long term Colombian customer – one of the largest coal mines in the world – has recently signed a contract to introduce OMDEC’s ground-breaking maintenance process – Living Reliability. Following an extensive series of training programs for the full maintenance management team, the customer is now expanding its current use of EXAKT to embrace these new technologies and processes. EXAKT – OMDEC’s equipment failure prediction software - has been successfully in operation at this customer site for several years. This next step in the journey towards continuous reliability improvement is to simplify and automate the data collection, data analysis and data input process to EXAKT. The OMDEC Living Reliability solution will integrate the EAM and RCM data to ensure the acquisition of new knowledge is consistently accessible and shared among the maintenance technicians and reliability experts in all parts of the business.
As part of OMDEC’s on-going commitment to its customers, OMDEC staff will be on-site in Colombia throughout the implementation and transition stages. OMDEC’s recognized track record of expertise in complex international reliability improvement initiatives was a key contributor to the customer’s decision to award this contract.
