I have been asked by several partners, clients, and OMDEC staff how they can know when something new has been added to the wiki. They complain that it is not realistic to expect people to remember to come back periodically to see what’s new. They are right, that is the old fashion way of using the Web.

The new way is to subscribe to those “RSS feeds” in which you are interested. RSS stands for “really simple syndication” (previously, rich site summary). It is the automated way to get new content that you consider worth subscribing to. You may wish to subscribe to any or all of these:

The Living RCM wiki pages
The Living RCM forum
The EXAKT forum
The living RCM Blog

Whenever you are on these pages you will see an orange icon in Internet Explorer’s tool bar. To subscribe to the page hit the icon and then hit “Subscribe to this feed”. That’s it. Thereafter, simply check your favorites center on the Internet Explorer toolbar whenever you feel like it. If anything is new, you will know about it instantly because your browser will have automatically already pulled it down for you. And don't worry. It's just as easy to unsubscribe.
