Who's who at OMDEC
Ben Stevens: President – has been running high-tech businesses for almost 25 years – CMMS/EAM systems and bar-coding systems; was on long term contract with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their International Centre of Excellence for Physical Asset Management; in earlier days was a finance guy at Atomic Energy and was trained as an economist. Murray Wiseman: VP Technology – worked at the UofT in the CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) Lab, used to run his own Oil Analysis Lab; worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their International Centre of Excellence for Physical Asset Management; Maintenance Superintendent at Molson’s Breweries, Maintenance Engineer at Alcan. Loads of practical experience, bursting with new ideas, excellent trainer and course leader. Located in Montreal and leads our “New Ideas” department. Klaus Krueppel: VP Sales – previously with Symbol Technologies, iisy AG (knowledge systems), Revere/Walker EAM systems in the Middle East. Top notch salesman and business manager. Dr. Daming Lin: Chief Statistician – a PhD in Statistics from Hong Kong University, Daming leads our statistical modeling and analysis business and is also a Research Associate at the University of Toronto. Resident in Toronto, he handles all the problems the rest of us don’t understand. Graham Brum: Product and Training Specialist - worked for many years with Pennant International Group in Canada and Australia, MIL Systems (logistics) in Ottawa and in the British Royal Navy. He has a strong background in supportability engineering, product management, and application training. Located in Ottawa, Graham provides specialist services to support the implementation and training of OMDEC 's business solutions. Chris Murfin: Sales Manager - America’s sales office is managed by Chris. With over 25 years of executive level international sales experience, his business development responsibilities have included managing international channel sales for technology manufacturers, as well as selling complex hardware/software enterprise solutions directly to the United States and Canada. Tony Lawton: Business Development UK and Ireland. Previously has operated in Business Development with a number of companies in the CMMS/EAM sector, covering Europe, Scandinavia and Middle East. Claudia Krueppel: Director of Marketing for Europe – has been in the sales and marketing business for many years in Germany, Holland, Bahrain and the US. Claudia looks after all aspects of marketing in Europe, and in her spare time does some direct selling.
