The Da-trol Group, in collaboration with OMDEC Inc., is pleased to announce the latest in their continuing series of Seminars on

Maintenance and Reliability

for

Managers and Supervisors

Two days (May 18 and 19), four topics, four sessions, one low price $495 (including lunch and coffee).   Location: 3450 Harvester Road, Burlington, Ontario.

Registration: Tuesday May 18, 8.30

Session 1 Tuesday May 18, 9am

Maintenance Management Overview

The opening session will lay the groundwork for the following two days by reviewing the most important tools and methodologies currently available to Maintenance Managers.  In particular we will concentrate on how to assess where you stand in relation to best practices both in Maintenance overall and in your use of your CMMS.  Attendees will then explore a simple methodology for setting the priorities and achieving them.

Session 2 Tuesday May 18, 1pm

Improving Equipment Reliability through your CMMS

Most companies have a CMMS in place – yet few are using it to drive improvements in equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.  Attendees will be led through the various components of a self-improvement model, including the practical steps necessary at each phase to move from the classroom model to an effective implementation in your workplace.

Session 3 Wednesday  May 19, 9am

Performance Management in Maintenance

KPI’s and Performance Management have become major issues in the trade magazines, yet most organizations have had little success in making them work.  In this session, attendees will review the objectives of Performance Management in the context of their own workplace, identify the elements that go into making Performance Management work, and then develop the individual steps needed to implement a successful program.

Session 4 Wednesday May 19, 1pm

Maintenance Budgeting and Cost Control

Most Maintenance Managers are under continuous pressure to cut budgets and control costs.  In this session, attendees will explore the various methods of setting budgets that make sense, together with methods for controlling costs – both in the daily maintenance work, and in maintenance projects.  But this is not all one way; we will also use the CMMS to demonstrate the value that is being derived from the maintenance work and thus provide the means to persuade management to increase the maintenance budget.

Between and after the sessions, the presenters will be available for group or individual discussions with attendees who have specific problems that they would like to raise.
